History. It is a subject that I am passionate about. I spent the majority of my time in my undergraduate program learning about the past. Ancient civilizations, medieval societies, Pacific wars, all of these topics fascinate me because through learning about the past, I believe you are better prepared to tackle the future.
Tackle is a verb that defines a large part of my life currently. You see, I am a mom to three boys who at best can be described as having the uncanny ability to keep me on my toes. Tackling is what they do best. They have an enthusiasm for life that is often labeled as rambunctious and results in a variety of holes in the walls; however, their energy fuels me.
My approach to market research is enhanced by my love of history and my animated boys. People, businesses, the economy, and how it all comes together make such an interesting story. In a business sense, an examination of this narrative not only helps you to understand the nature of your marketplace as a whole, but also provides you with the intelligence to be innovative and stand apart from your competitors.
At Access/Information, I have had the opportunity to work with all kinds of companies, across a variety of industries. And from of each of these experiences, I have gained a new perspective that helps to cultivate my ability to think beyond the box and furthers my appetite for discovery. Ultimately, it is this new context I gain with each engagement, this revision to history, that enables me to serve you better.
